Hey Andrew ~

Funny, but in reading about dentbetty and seeing the people participating in the endeavor...it's quite clear so much effort has gone into this venture. Above and beyond the usual business. The attention to detail on all levels is impressive. Coming from an artistic and creative background, the name alone was a winner. The photos of "Betty" and how she carries the process along is really catchy and fun. It's a creative touch to the clearly organized, well-designed, structure of the business.

The confirmation email was perfect - the communication and explanation of the process was all there and was easy to follow. Seriously..having a creative background and having managed a family business for years, with a type A dad for a boss who tests at genius levels (really!)...I've been grilled about perfection (or at least extremely well thought out presentation) on so many levels. That coupled with my freakish need for readability, good general layout and balance of print, I just found myself interested in looking at all the pages on your site and reading up on the company. I truly enjoyed "checking you out"! It was clear labor of love and I was intrigued by all that has been put into the presentation, procedures and operations. And an impressive, talented team

A refreshing site, compared with the typical sites we all encounter. And LOVE the card that was left on my car! Geez, you won't hear that every day. Going to keep it in my purse to show everyone. Just yesterday I was telling my husband...don't put your gym flyers on cars - people HATE when things are placed on their cars. But when I got the card (after hauling my 2 kids through the mall) I just said "Wow! This is GREAT! And just genius."

And the confirmation email....It confirmed my repair request was submitted, had the tracking code clearly placed, not too many different fonts, or caps, great layout, bold text in the right spots. Then it tell you what happens next. That just makes sense. But all too often, oddly, we are not told clearly what the next steps are in a customer service process. And the systems in place....awesome. Not just one quote, but multiple quotes. And you are updated as they come. AND you can log in and check them at any time, choosing what you want, when you want. AND...the cherry on top....I didn't even have to leave my house. Can you imagine (of course you have) the time I would have to take to drive and get multiple quotes? Forget the time it takes! The fact that I would have to do it with a 5 yr old girl who doesn't stop talking, bless her soul, and a 3-1/2 yr old little boy who has been described as the creature "animal" from the muppets. Only if I was medicated would I attempt such an adventure!

I have never taken the time to send an email such as this, but I was simply inspired. My husband is teasing me for putting so much time into this email, but I really have a great appreciation for those that go after what they love and work so hard to put together something special. I've always told him....if there is something you want to do, a dream you want to go after, go do it. Don't worry about me, the kids etc. We will make it all work out somehow!

So "Labor of Love" is my life theme. Maybe that's why I could see it in your business. I just had to take the time to tell you - It shows, and it rocks! Good for you and I truly wish you all the best success.

Looking forward to getting those quotes.

Alicia - Thank you for your kind words! This has been such a labor of love, you have no idea. Thank you! May I quote you for attribution our website, the people love testimonials and you are very articulate about the need for a service such as this, investors and shops love to hear this.

Nope, your Novato shop is not in our network - yet, appreciate your spreading the word. We do have some fine shops and the total number is starting to balloon, we have a lot of good meetings coming up. They are most welcome to play along if they want, I'd be glad to set them up.

Pleased that the emails were working - Please let me know how the whole experience goes.

Very best,

Andrew

Hi Andrew! Very excited for this new service. Yes, please use this email address. Am also excited to see how it works, as I would LOVE to recommend dentbetty to the entire Novato Mother's Club here. A great group - thanks to the power of these moms we are getting Whole Foods here in town! As a busy mom (like so many of us are) I have been endlessly putting off dealing with my car damage. The kids just have me running circles around myself and it has become a low priority. I know all the moms in our club feel them same...so looking forward to reporting my entire experience to them all!

I don't know if Complete Auto Body in Novato is one of your vendors. My mom uses them often (don't ask). I forwarded your website link to them telling them where to go on the site in case they might be interested on providing quotes.

Sincerely,
Alicia Bannister :)

Hi -

We weren't able to confirm your email address. Did you receive our standard email with the confirmation link?

You are one of the first people to try out this system - We very much appreciate your inquiry! However we need to know if our emails aren't reaching you - we have learned that in some isolated cases a few ISPs have bounced our automated emails, perhaps because we are new and not yet on their "whitelist" for opt-in, non-spammers. Amy our CTO has been working on this to make certain that every email ISP will allow our emails to get through - soon this will operate more smoothly. (This email from me isn't an automated one - I actually wrote it for you personally!).

In the meanwhile, if you like to proceed anyway and haven't receive our standard email, may I forward you the notifications from this personal address? My apologies for this inconvenience. Please do let me know so we can move ahead and send your request to the body shops for estimates. If you don't reply then there is no way for you to find out when they have responded.

Thanks again for trying this out! The support we have had so far is very gratifying, really appreciate your interest.

Best wishes,

Andrew Mann
